She worked as an associate professor at Northeastern University, Boston; Worked as adjunct Professor at the University of Concordia, Montreal, Canada. She has been a visiting professor at several universities including; the National University of Guatemala, National University of El Salvador, and the National University of Vietnam. She has won several awards including Designated ‘Outstanding Scholar ‘by the US Federal Government.
